В близост до небезизвестния хотел Марина Бей Сандс (Marina Bay Sands) в парка "Градините от Залива", се издигат Супер дърветата на Сингапур. Тези 18 на брой гигантски изкуствени дървета достигат до 50 метра височина и 25 метра широчина. Освен, че са супер атракция, те имат и няколко функции - служат като вертикална градина, генерират слънчева енергия и събират дъждовна вода. Енергията която генерират служи за осветление и за задвижване на напоителната система.
В парка по проект ще има общо 163 000 растения от над 200 вида. Ще бъдат представени растения от всеки континент, като някои са защитени видове.
Посетителите имат възможността да се разходят в короните на тези дървета, по специално изградени пътеки висящи 22 метра над земята. А когато се стъмни, хората ще могат да се насладят на уникалното светлинно и музикално шоу.
Този уникален проект се очаква да струва около 1 милиард долара.
